What is Gynecomastia? -

Gynecomastia is a physical abnormality found in men. The word Gynecomastia comes from the Greek words meaning "woman" and "breast." It is called so because the breasts of an affected man may resemble women's breasts. It is not to be confused with enlargement from pectoral (chest) muscle tissue, such as that of an athlete.

Gynecomastia in Men -

A man with gynecomastia may have enlarged breasts due to having developed abnormally large mammary glands.
